Soheil Ashrafologhalai

Soheil is studying at the Langara College and Vancouver Community College in Human Kinetics and Music.
Soheil started to learn music at the age of 9 in basic orff studies, but he quitted shortly after a year. At the age of 17 he started to learn Violin from Mr. Goldareh but since he left to Iran, he was not able to continue.
At the age of 19, Soheil started to take Persian Classical Vocal lessons from Mansour Firouzbakhsh. Also with recommendation of Mr. Firouzbakhsh after a year of learning Radif, he began to learn tar as well; while learning the Vocals. He started to study tar from Amir Koushkani, after Mr. Koushkani left Vancouver, he continued his tar lessons with Mr. Koushkanis high ranked student Ehsan Oveisi. In November of 2009 he went to Iran for a month and took intense Classes with Mehdi Falah in Vocals as well. Also he started to learn Tombak from a good friend Danon Danesh in 2004 and currently he is taking lessons with Hamin Honari.
