Amir was introduced to classical Persian music through the tonbak at the age of 10. After a few months of lessons he decided on a different path to exploring his musical desires. Years later, he was drawn back into the art of tonbak after realizing its vast potential for personal expressiveness.
He is now passionately active in UBC Persian music ensemble. He is also interested in exploring other genres of music. |
