UBC Persian Music Ensemble was established in January 2009 to explore theoretical, practical and historical interests in Iranian music by allowing performers from the university and the community to share their expertise and learn from one another.
The ensemble is committed to the study and performance of a wide range of Persian music, with a certain emphasis on those underpinned by the theory and practice of Iranian Radif. The ensemble is open to all members of the university community who are experienced in playing music.
We rehearse on Thursdays 6:30 pm at Penthouse, Graduate Student Center, UBC.

UBC Persian Music Ensemble (Hamnavaz) in collaboration with UBC Persian Club would like to invite all of you to attend our upcoming concert on UBC Campus. We're performing some original compositions, as well as some classic songs made and performed by Iran's best musicians in the past decades. We are also planning some dance choreography.
